Let’s face it; we already live in a digital world. Our work lives, personal lives, and finances have all begun to gravitate toward the world of the internet, mobile computing, and electronic media. The pandemic happening only pushed the digital age even further ahead, and we need to embrace technology so we can keep our children safe.

Unfortunately, when a door of opportunities open, some dangers come with it as well. As we become more reliant to technology, it makes us more vulnerable to hacks, digital attacks, invasions of privacy, fraud, and other malicious intruders online.
That is why, at the start of distance learning, Child’s Academy has provided a free online talk about Cybersecurity in the Age of Digital Learning. The talk was given by Charles Kenneth Hernandez, an expert on cybersecurity who is currently the Head of IT & Technical Sales at Forward Solutions Inc. His job in general includes the management of operations in the datacentre; creating and implementing strategies for Security, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan for the Information System.
The online talk last August 1, 2020 (Saturday) was well attended. Below are slide excerpts from Charles’ presentation, which already proves their practical use on their own. The entire PowerPoint presentation, however, will be available upon request to any parent whose child is currently enrolled in Child’s Academy.

If you wish to have a copy of the complete presentation, this is available for all parents with children enrolled in Child's Academy.
